Firstly lets have a quick look at the Naturally Slender Eating Strategy
- Step 1 - Are You Really Hungry? How Do You Know?
- Step 2 - What Would Taste Good/Feel Good Right Now?
- Step 3 - Will It Satisfy?
- Step 4 - How Much Do You Need?
- Step 5 - How Will You Feel After?
- Step 6 - Eat Slowly With Full Awareness
- Step 7 - When You Think You Feel Full, Stop Eating
For years I tried to get this to work for me...
Step 1 - Are You Really Hungry? How Do You Know? Yes I am - I was always hungry!
Step 2 - What Would Taste Good/Feel Good Right Now? About anything! in this step you consider the various options and most points would go for location and speed of delivery into the mouth (e.g. open the fridge and grab something)
Step 3 - Will It Satisfy? At this stage you imagine how it will feel over time to see if it will satisfay what your body needs - for the ot of balance body NOTHING SATISFYS as it is in a continual state of need.
Step 4 - How Much Do You Need? The instructions offer a small medium or large hellping - the portion I used to like was 'All'
Step 5 - How Will You Feel After? Another odd question because there was always a rollercoaster effect - the end of one meal was just a marker in the day and almost the beginning of planning the next meal
Step 6 - Eat Slowly With Full Awareness Now awareness just goes out the window when your stomach is desparate for real actual nutrition and food just becomes a drug to numb the senses.
Step 7 - When You Think You Feel Full, Stop Eating What a thought! Well yes it did happen but very rarely
So why doesn't work? Well it does - for a Naturally Slender Person! They can eat just what they want, how much they want, at what time of day they want - and they don't put on any weight! How unfair is that!
The first clue is... Naturally...
Naturally means automatically - not counting every calorie or having the willpower of gladiator.
The second Clue is what would feel good or what do you desire?
Desire is a funny old thing... Wish for - Fancy -Would like - Feel like - Crave - Covet - Yearn for - hanker after - be after - be looking for - Ardently desire and then one I used to use frequently: require!
Another offering from the theasuras is Ask humbly for -
pray - request - sue for - request - implore - entreat - beseech and my particular favourite: Beg
Why do unnaturally slender people crave the wrong things?
Thats all for now and there will be more later... Emily
