Something tasty for you curry lovers. Nothing beats spicy food to cheer up your taste buds and the heat in curry serves to boost your system too.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams very lean steak cut into 1 in. cubes
  • 1 tblspoon choppen onion
  • 1/2 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 t. minced fresh ginger
  • 1/4 t. ground coriander
  • 1/8 t. ground cumin
  • 1 shake turmeric
  • 2 shakes pepper
  • 4 shakes sea salt
  • 4 T. water
  • 2 t. chopped corriander

Preparation method

In a large frying pan, heat 3 T. water over moderate heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the coriander, cumin, turmeric, pepper, salt, and 1 T. water. Add the paste to the onion and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.

Add the meat to the pan and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes. Raise the heat to moderately high and cook to your taste, stirring, about 2 minutes longer for medium rare. Stir in the corriander.

Note: A long-simmering curry becomes a quick one when you substitute a tender cut of beef (sirloin, fillet...) and stir-fry it till medium-rare.

Enjoy!
